Hey y'all! Long time no see! I'll give you a quick little life update and explain why I've been MIA for SO LONG!!!
This summer I had an internship with an online boutique named Royal and Reese. I absolutely LOVED my experience with them and they are such an amazing company to work for. I think I'm going to do a post just about that internship and everything I did with them. If you are in the Bloomington, Normal Illinois area I highly recommend interning with them, it's truly an incredible company. Anyway, I was also taking 3 summer classes and working a part time job. I had high hopes of building up my blog a TON in the summer but, once I got into the swing of my internship, classes, and work that just didn't become a reality sadly. I did well in my classes and made some money working so in the end, it was all worth it.
Now, I have a full time full semester internship with a company called Wakefield's and Martin's Family Clothing. It's a family owned department store located in Alabama. I've already experienced so much in the month that I've been with them it's amazing. I'm also in one online class. So, I'm still crazy busy but, at least I have most nights and some weekends free to write posts and really engage. I need to get more consistent for y'all and I'm going to start trying my best to do that!

Now on to the fun stuff! Can we talk about this skirt?! It's seriously one of my favorites and I received soooo many compliments on it when I wore it. I had this exact look on for work or, you could put a fun little graphic tee on and dress it down with some sneakers for more of a play look! With having to dress business casual to work (yes, the business casual that you can't wear jeans), I've been trying to add pieces to my closet that are perfect for work and a weekend out with my friends. If I'm going to spend money on clothes I might as well make sure I wear them!!

I got this skirt of the summer from Forever 21 and let me just say, they are seriously stepping up their game. This skirt is good quality for the price I paid! Such a bang for your buck! I love all the bright colors in it! Its perfect for the summer bright, vibrant color trend that is happening right now. The midi length makes it super retro and flattering. It zips on the side and stays put which is always nice! Also loving the pleats this skirt has. It makes it so flattering on any body style!! I styled it with a basic teeshirt from Old Navy and my amazing nude blocked heels from Target. Again, those heels are a bang for you buck. Such good quality and under $30!! They look just like the Steve Madden ones! All links will be below for y'all!

I hope you had an amazing summer and start to first semester! Is anyone else shocked that its almost October?? Like what!!!
I'm so happy to be back! I love keeping y'all updated on what's going on in my life and keeping you up with all the styles!
Stay stylish,
Hailey
