What to Wear Wednesday: Lacey Blues

The end of my spring semester is officially over! I took my one and only final yesterday morning and now I get to spend my day lounging by the pool and finishing up packing. I am leaving tomorrow early in the morning to head back home for the summer.

If you've been following me long enough, you know that I have an internship in the summer. I'm excited to start that and can't wait to keep y'all updated with that journey. I will also be taking a few summer classes online and working a part time job. So, I will be very busy to say the least! But, I have plans to redo my website and really get this blog off the ground! Feel free to encourage your friends to start following along.

Today I wanted to share this lacey top I got last summer from Express. Yes, you heard me right...last summer. It's okay to hold on to pieces that you still love! Yes, trends change fast but, usually your pieces will still be trendy for a couple seasons. Don't feel like you need to redo your entire closet every single season, unless, your like me and have a shopping addiction and even if you don't plan to it basically ends up happening. My point is, there is nothing wrong with finding similar piece in your closet to style the same way!

I love how this top has the key hole detailing in the front that's big enough to show skin but small enough to stay modest. I think this is the perfect date night top! It's a good length, not too long and not too short. The color is also perfect for summer with your tan skin. Not to mention it looks amazing paired with white jeans and, white jeans look good on everyone! They give off a slimming illusion. Or, how cute would it be with a white denim skirt for a fancier date night?! Of course I paired it with the espadrilles you've seen me in many times now. Seriously, if you don't have a pair you NEED some! I have worn these SO much!
